THE GLDN was born from a love of effortless style and the moments that make life feel meaningful - the slow (and sometimes fast) mornings, beach days, coffee runs, summer bonfires, and everything in between. We wanted to create pieces that feel easy to throw on, comfortable to live in, and timeless enough to wear for years.

We’re Jill & Katya, co-founders of THE GLDN. We met in 2016 while working together for a clean beauty brand and quickly became close friends. We bonded over our shared love of cozy yet cool style and were the “go-to” friends whenever someone needed help finding the perfect pair of jeans, putting together a vacation capsule, or styling an outfit.

But beyond style, what mattered most to us was creating meaningful moments with family and friends. Especially summers spent by the ocean.

In 2022, after navigating major career shifts, motherhood, and the constant pace of everyday life, we felt pulled toward creating something of our own. Something creative. Something personal. A brand that reflected the way we wanted to live and dress.

Inspired by coastal days, lived-in comfort, and that effortless feeling of putting on an outfit that just feels right, we created THE GLDN.
